I am a community advocate and connector. For more than five decades, I have been the person you call when you don’t know where to turn.

My work began in healthcare as a teenager and grew into roles in advocacy, Medicare and Medicaid counseling, nonprofit leadership, and community outreach across Hampton Roads. Every step strengthened my belief that no one should have to navigate resources alone.

People in my community say, “Call Iris — she’ll know someone who can help.”  That isn't just a reputation. It's my mission — my ministry.
