I am a community advocate and connector. For more than five decades, I have been the person you call when you don’t know where to turn.
My work began in healthcare as a teenager and grew into roles in advocacy, Medicare and Medicaid counseling, nonprofit leadership, and community outreach across Hampton Roads. Every step strengthened my belief that no one should have to navigate resources alone.
People in my community say, “Call Iris — she’ll know someone who can help.” That isn't just a reputation. It's my mission — my ministry.
That isn’t just a reputation. It’s the work I’ve dedicated my life to.
Resource Info Network is the continuation of that work — bringing decades of relationships, knowledge, and lived experience to the individuals, families, and organizations who need a trusted guide.
I support individuals and organizations across the country with clear information, trusted guidance, and practical resource navigation.
Civic & Community Roles
My civic and community work focuses on strengthening access to resources for older adults, caregivers, and families. I continue to serve in roles that support benefits education, senior services, and community connection through trusted organizations and programs.
